This paper reports that in order to elucidate the mechanism of saturated-pool nucleate boiling by interfering bubbles from a local viewpoint, a flow visualization experiment of liquid motion caused by vapor bubble action was carried out as a first step. In this experiment, two hydrogen-generating electrodes which supplied vapor bubbles were provided on the heating surface. A liquid motion was observed to be influenced by vapor bubble action coming from both electrodes, and the liquid velocity was mainly influenced by the liquid extrusion action due to the vapor bubble growth and to the entailed flow effect after the separation of the vapor bubble.
