Changing priorities of codes and standards: Failure, fatigue, and creep

The 1994 Pressure Vessels and Piping Conference was held June 19--23, 1994 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This purpose of the conference was to provide a forum for the exchange of state-of-the-art information pertaining to design and analysis, materials, fabrication, and operation of pressure containment structures and systems as they relate to ASME Codes and Standards. Attention is focused on the following topics: fatigue in operating plants; flaw evaluation; and changing priorities in Codes and Standards. Individual papers are processed separately for inclusion in the appropriate data bases.
