Adler-Weisberger sum rule and the axial-vector coupling of a constituent quark

The axial-vector coupling of a constituent quark is estimated with the Adler-Weisberger sum rule using the linear {sigma} model to regulate the nonlinear {sigma} model. Agreement is found with a previous loopwise calculation.
