A hindered aromatic diamine with improved handling characteristics is less reactive with epoxy resins than is an MDA (methylene dianiline) eutectic. Accelerators can be used to increase the reactivity and produce higher Tg's after short cure cycles. One of the most effective accelerators that meets other pertinent conditions necessary for commercial use in boron trifluoride. 5 references, 1 figure, 5 tables.
