Papers are presented on such topics as the optical characterization of high energy laser components, an optical evaluation laboratory for laser fusion, and plated copper substrates for the LASL Antares CO/sub 2/ laser system for fusion research. Consideration is also given to the application of sputtering to the repair of metal mirrors, nonlinear holographic gratings for high energy laser beam sampling, and a new instrument for routine optical testing of general aspherics.
