The bibliography contains citations of selected patents concerning classifications, components, and applications of image intensifiers. Classifications include x-ray, gamma-ray, electron beam, and neutron beam image intensifiers. Design and fabrication methods of image intensifier tubes, input phosphor screens, photocathodes, resolution enhancers, brightness control devices, color contrast devices, and power supply circuits are presented. Patent applications of image intensifiers used in x-ray and gamma-ray imaging systems, electron microscopes, charge coupled image sensors, television cameras, photographic apparatus, and underwater viewing systems are included.
