This patent describes a triaxial thermopile array device for measuring geothermal heat flow in a subsurface regime in three dimensions. It comprises: a transducer array buried in the subsurface regime comprising three heat flow transducer pads spaced apart vertically along a longitudinal axis, means in electrical communication with each of the transducer pads for converting the electrical signals into heat flow values for each of the mutually perpendicular dimensions in the subsurface regime.
