This bibliography contains citations concerning toxicity and general health effects from the production of textiles. Vapors from burning flame resistant fabric, magnesium vapors from polyester foam, and toxic emissions from insulation, clothing, and upholstery are described and evaluated. Health effects resulting from formaldehyde use in treating fabrics for crease-resistance, lubricant use on polyester, textile mill effluents, and toxic substances found in textile mill room air are examined. (This updated bibliography contains 136 citations, 66 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
