Equivalent one-dimensional hydrodynamic dispersion in a tube with radioactive decay and adsorption

In a previous report we computed the equivalent 1-D coefficient of hydrodynamic dispersion in a circular tube. In this report we extend our computations and also include radioactive decay and chemical adsorption. We compare breakthrough curves from 1-D and 2-D computations and find that the equivalent coefficient of dispersion obtained for pure hydrodynamic dispersion is also good when radioactive decay and chemical adsorption take place. 2 refs., 17 figs.
