Superfund record of decision (EPA Region 3): Revere Chemical Site, Nockamixon Township, Bucks County, PA, December 1993
This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Revere Chemical Site (the Site), located on the southeast side of U. S. Route 611, just north of Route 412 and south of the town of Revere, Pennsylvania. The contaminated media at the Site are divided into Operable Units as follows: OU1 - Contaminated soil areas, Solid waste, and miscellaneous debris and OU2 - Ground water and Mercury-contaminated sediments. This ROD addresses the first Operable Unit. The selected remedial action for the first Operable Unit is a final remedy and will address contaminated soil and solid waste and miscellaneous debris on portions of the Site. The volatile organic (VOC) soil contamination represents the principal threat. Therefore, treatment of the VOC-contaminated soil will be required.
