For the synthesis of N-(sulfonamidomethyl) lactams and imides four variants of the silyl method are proposed, and of these two include the N-sulfonamidomethylation of N-silyl lactams and imides under the action of N-(chloromethyl) sulfonamides or their N-(siloxymethyl) equivalents and the other two consist in independent synthesis by the N-amidomethylaiton of N-silyl sulfonamides under the action of N-(chloromethyl) lactams or their N-(siloxymethyl) equivalents. The IR spectra of undiluted samples of the compounds as thin layers were determined with a Specord 75-IR spectrometer (NaBr, CaF/sub 2/). The PMR spectra were determined on a Tesla BS-467 spectrometer with a working frequency of 60 MHz.
