Determination of the temporal uniformity of irradiation of spherical targets in the Del'fin-1 laser facility

An analysis was made of the influence of desynchronization of laser beams on the uniformity of target irradiation in multichannel laser systems. Heating beams were synchronized in the Del'fin-1 laser thermonuclear facility to within +- 50 psec, which made it possible to carry out experiments on the heating and compression on high-aspect-ratio (R/..delta..Rroughly-equal200) shell targets.
