Equipment includes: approved coal mine dust sampler units; certified gas detector tube units; and respiratory protective devices, including self-contained breathing apparatus, supplied-air respirators, chemical-cartridge respirators, and dust, fume, and mist respirators. Also given is information concerning expiration of Bureau of Mines approval for respiratory equipment, including gas masks, and sections of the Federal Register applicable to respiratory protective devices and tests for permissibility.
