A code for the solution of the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck equation in one or two dimensions

We describe a code for the solution of the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck (VFP) equation in one or two spatial dimensions using the diffusive approximation in configuration space. The equations are integrated by the Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) method. We give examples of its application to the simulation of laser-produced plasmas. 20 refs., 4 figs.
