The authors obtain renormalization group equations for the parameters of nonminimal coupling of matter with an external gravitational field with torsion. The asymptotical behavior of these parameters in the short-distance limit is studied. The asymptotical conformal invariance of the theory is established. The presence of new (as compared to Minkowski space) parameters in the Lagrangian results in the presence of new effective charges in the renormalization group equations. These equations allow one to study the behavior of vertex functions, vacuum energy, and effective charges in the short distance limit, which corresponds to the limit of high energy or of high curvature of the gravitational field.
