Topics considered at the symposium included the determination of the oil content of soils, the characterization of petrochemical wastes for combustion, a laboratory extraction method to simulate the codisposal of solid wastes in municipal waste landfills, risk assessment, biological test methods, land treatment and disposal test methods, and incineration.
