Chemometrics, the application of statistical and mathematical methods to chemistry, continues to grow and mature as a field. This review covers some of the more significant developments in the field of chemometrics during the period from December 1985 to December 1987. This review is the seventh of the series, and the fifth with the title Chemometrics.
