Eight flavor QCD is studied on 16[sup 3] x N[sub t], lattices with n[sub t] = 4, 6, 8, 16 and 32. A dynamical quark of mass ma = 0.015 is used in the simulation. A strong, first order chiral symmetry restoring phase transition is seen at N[sub t] = 4, 6, and 8 with different [beta][sub c]. However, [beta][sub c] becomes independent of N[sub t] when N[sub t] [>=] 8, indicating a bulk or zero temperature phase transition. The chiral properties of weak-coupling side of the bulk transition are unclear. The calculation results offer a hint of a normal, finite temperature chiral symmetry breaking transition in the weak coupling side. In two flavor lattice QCD simulation, f[sub [pi]] is calculated from the correlation of the divergence of the lattice axial current, which agrees with the result calculated from the PCAC assumption.
