Crankcase supercharged 4 stroke, 6 cycle engine
This patent describes a high power, low-emission, fuel efficient, supercharged, four-stroke 6 cycle engine. It comprises: means for defining a chamber having a cylindrical portion; a piston which reciprocates in the cylindrical portion of the chamber through successive intake, compression, power and exhaust strokes respectively while six different cycles or events take place and divides the chamber into a combustion chamber and a compression chamber; means for supplying air to the compression chamber during the compression and exhaust strokes of the piston; a compression chamber inlet valve; an intake conduit; a compression chamber outlet valve; an active intake valve; means for mixing fuel with the air as it passes from the compression chamber to the combustion chamber; and at least one secondary conduit.
