Westinghouse Hanford is the DOE's Management and Operations contractor at the Hanford Site responsible for this cleanup effort. Westinghouse Hanford's Transportation and Packaging Function has overall responsibility for implementation of, and compliance with, onsite and offsite radioactive and hazardous waste shipping requirements. Packaging needs are described.
