Topics at the symposium included plastic pipe research, predictive models, testing methods for predicting the service life of polyethylenes, fracture mechanics, crack propagation, quality assurance, welding, failures, residual stresses, Charpy tests, static electricity, pipe fittings, and the time dependent deformation of plastic gas piping materials.
