High power diode-laser-pumped twisted-mode Nd:YAG laser

The authors describe the design and performance of a high power diode-laser-pumped twisted-mode Nd:YAG laser. Using four high power 1 W diode lasers as pumping, nearly single frequency output power of 950 mW was obtained. Stable single frequency operation was realized with the help of injection locking with a master monolithic ring diode-laser-pumped Nd:YAG laser.
