Diagnostic imaging in neurological disease

In this text, the authors' seek to show not only what diagnostic tests can be done but, what tests should be done in a given clinical setting. The first third of this book is devoted to describing the basic physics and complications of the diagnostic modalities available. The remainder is about the various signs and symptoms of central nervous system abnormalities. Throughout this discussion, the authors' espouses his conservative ''British'' approach to medical imaging: Are the accuracy, necessity, and patient benefit of a diagnosis worth the risks, time, and costs of a particular radiographic study.
