This report describes work done in the general area of concurrent processing for scientific and engineering computation. We refer to the project as the Caltech Concurrent Computation Project. The work includes developing concurrent algorithms and running them on a 64 node hypercube machine to solve significant scientific problems. Another major aspect of the research involves developing the necessary hardware and system software. We describe the different components of the project.
