Prepare for EPA's risk management program rule

If the facility is currently developing and implementing a process safety management (PSM) program, then their should be including items that will help to achieve compliance with the anticipated U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) risk management program rule. By comparing the existing US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements with those proposed by EPA, companies can determine what they need to do to prepare for these upcoming requirements. This article compares the activities needed to comply with both rules and provides activities companies can be implementing now.
