Decision analysis methodology for the blanket comparison and selection study

The decision analysis methodology has been a vital learning part of this selection study and represents a significant advance over the processes used in previous conceptual design studies. The identified factors in the four detailed evaluation areas have helped guide and focus the research efforts. The methodology should lead to the best possible final decisions whose basis will be clearer to the fusion community.
