This article describes a program designed to aid the reservoir engineer which runs within the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program. BHPCALC allows the engineer to calculate bottomhole pressures of gas wells from surface shut-in pressures. This worksheet is designed to handle many engineering tasks that would require an individual much longer to duplicate using a calculator.
