This report describes the Nova Output Sensor design developed by Aerojet ElectroSystems Company (AESC) for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The sensor is an outgrowth of control and instrumentation work done by Aerojet during the Shiva Program and represents an integration of the previously developed alignment and diagnostic instruments developed under that program. The basic sensor configuration was developed under this contract during a concept definition phase in which extensive trade studies were used to define and optimize this three-color sensor.
