Equations of motion for the N. delta. system with a real nucleon and the NNarrow-right-left. pi. d reaction in the vicinity of the resonance

Relativistic equations for the NNarrow-right-left..pi..d process which take into account all the diagrams for ..pi.. meson multiple rescattering are considered. The NN interaction is neglected, and in the ..pi..N interaction only the P/sub 33/ state is taken into account. The solutions of the system of integral equations for the NN..-->..N..delta.. amplitude which include all NN partial waves up to total angular momentum J = 4/sup +- /(/sup 1/G/sub 4/, /sup 3/F/sub 4/, and /sup 3/H/sub 4/) are used in construction of the amplitudes of the NN..--> pi..d process on the basis of which the observables are calculated. The differential and total cross sections for the ..pi..d..-->..NN reaction, asymmetry coefficients for a polarized beam, correlation coefficients for a polarized beam and polarized target, and the deuteron polarizations (vector and tensor) for unpolarized initial particles in the NN..--> pi..d reaction are calculated. The results are compared with experimental data.
