Reactions of O,S-diethyl (2-chloro-1-phenylvinyl)phosphonothioite with nitrilimines

The authors have found that for O,S-diethyl (2-chloro-1-phenylvinyl)phosphonothioite (3 + 3) cycloaddition to nitrilimines is also characteristic. The reactions go analogously to the reactions of diethyl (2-bromo-1-phenylvinyl)phosphonite with nitrilimines. As final products the authors obtained 4-(ethylthio)-1,4-dihydro-1,2,4-diazaphosphorine 4-oxides. The compositions and structures of the compounds were established on the basis of elemental analysis and IR, PMR, and /sup 31/P NMR spectroscopy.
