Improved performance of a near grazing incidence grating continuously tunable CO/sub 2/ laser

Improvement in laser performance characteristics are reported for a continuously operated CO/sub 2/ laser operated with a three-mirror near grazing incidence grating configuration. The laser linewidth is narrowed by a factor of seven. (AIP)
