Double sine-Gordon kinks in random fields of force

We present a model for a double sine-Gordon (DSG) kink in interaction with an external heat bath which acts on the kink as a systematic dissipative force and a delta-correlated stochastic force. The DSG kink behaves like a ''bound state'' of two single sine-Gordon kinks which we describe as a center-of-mass variable X(t) and an internal anharmonic oscillator variable R(t) by means of a constrained Hamiltonian formalism using Dirac brackets. We apply our model to DSG kinks which appear in antiferromagnetic chains.
