The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation (SITE) Program, now in its fifth year, serves several purposes, including (1) the development and implementation of innovative treatment technologies for hazardous waste remediation and (2) the development and implementation of monitoring and measurement technologies for evaluating the nature and extent of hazardous waste site contamination. The update bulletin, developed as a part of the Technology Transfer Program, highlights progress over the past year under the Demonstration, Emerging Technologies, and Monitoring and Measurement Technologies Programs.
