Concerning CH/sub 2/=C/sup -/ and its reaction with /sup 14/N/sup 15/NO

Evidence is presented that stable C/sub 2/H/sub 2/./sup -/ (m/e 26) has the structure CH/sub 2/ = C./sup -/ . In the reaction of CH/sub 2/ = C./sup -/ with /sup 14/N /sup 15/NO, there is no incorporation of the /sup 15/N label into the CH/sub 2/CN/sup -/ product ions, and thus the reaction takes place at the terminal nitrogen.
