LPG in Argentina and Mexico: exporters through the year 2000

The future of LPG in Argentina is one of an increasing surplus. By 1995, supply will exceed internal demand by 780,000-950,000 tons per year. By the year 2000, the excess will be approximately 1,090,000-1,170,000 tons per year. LPG production in Mexico should reach 7.8 million tons per year in 1995 and 8.6 million tons per year in 2000. LPG use is widespread, with demand projected to reach 4.7 million tons in 1990, 5.5 in 1995 and 6.4 million tons in 2000.
