GRI baseline projection of US energy supply and demand. 1993 edition

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6896806
Significant modifications reflected in this summary of the 1993 edition of the GRI baseline projection of U.S. energy supply and demand include lower energy prices, a more optimistic gas supply, stronger conservation trends, and increased industrial sector demand. Two alternative scenarios providing extreme views of the energy future are also presented. The first scenario envisages, despite very low energy prices, severe constraints to energy demand brought about by the economic situation and environmental policy factors. The other scenario presents an optimistic view that increased gas supplies can be provided at low cost. Consumption, demand, supply, and price trends are illustrated in numerous tables.
