The torque curves performed on Nd[sub 15.1]Fe[sub 76.9]B[sub 8] permanent magnets have been analyzed taking into account the influence or the demagnetizing field on both the torque and nucleation field. The anisotropy constant K[sub d] resulting from the structure demagnetizing fields were determined. Additionally the domain photographs on a surface parallel to the easy axis were taken during the magnetic field rotation from 0[degree] to 360[degree] and 360[degree] to 0[degree]. From the results It follows that the demagnetization process in Nd[sub 15.1]Fe[sub 76.9]B[sub 8] magnets occurs by the nucleation or reversed domains.
