The Power Plant Siting Program (PPSP) prepared this report to identify and discuss issues critical in the licensing of a conventional pulverized-coal power plant at the Perryman site. The report contains information that would be important in evaluating the Perryman site regardless of the coal-combustion technology selected. On the basis of the available preliminary information regarding ground water, ecology, air quality, socioeconomics and noise, no deficiencies have been identified that warrant finding the Perryman site unsuitable for development.
