Upper Little Tennessee River watershed aerial inventory of land uses and nonpoint pollution sources data report

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6886477

This report presents the results of an aerial inventory by TVA of land use and potential nonpoint pollution sources in the upper part of the Little Tennessee River watershed, in western North Carolina and northern Georgia. The aerial inventory process provides reliable, high-resolution land use and NPS information providing a bench mark to track changes in land use and possible resulting effects on water quality in the watershed. In addition, it provides a tool to help screen watersheds for further study or remedial treatment on the basis of NPS pollution potential.
