There was mutual hostility and a lack of organization at the Vienna OPEC meeting, with Saudi Arabian control notably missing. Saudi Arabia is expected to maintain the $34 price marker, but it had to increase production in order to balance the market. The principal unknown is the continuing conflict between Iraq and Iran and the invasion of Lebanon by Israel. 2 tables. (DCK)
