B(E2) values and phase coexistence in {sup 152}Sm

The B(E2) values for several critical transitions in {sup 152}Sm are determined following the {epsilon} decay of {sup 152}Eu. These data improve upon and correct previous studies and allow us to perform a full analysis of phase coexistence in {sup 152}Sm, to analyze the mixing found empirically, and to compare this with detailed model calculations. {copyright} {ital 1999} {ital The American Physical Society}
