VRTECH/PC-II User's Manual: Volume-reduction Technology Computer Program

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6880311
VRTECH/PC II is a microcomputer program written in IBM's Professional FORTRAN for the IBM PC, XT, or AT with at least 512K pay back, and sensitivity analysis for low-level radioactive waste processing systems. VRTECH/PC generates cost reports by low-level waste stream, volume-reduction technologies, storage times, transportation distances, and burial charges. Its topdown, modular design provides flexible software which can be easily modified for the user's specific problem. In addition, VRTECH/PC includes TASC's Screen Generation Facility (SCF) software. SCF provides a user-friendly environment for creating saving and recalling inputs for the proper operation of the program. VRTECH/PC was developed by the Analytic Sciences Corporation, Reading, Massachusetts under contract to the Electric Power Research Institute, Palo Alto, California. 9 refs., 35 figs., 14 tabs.
