A laser beam dividing apparatus is disclosed having a first beam splitter with an aperture therein positioned in the path of a laser beam such that a portion of the laser beam passes through the aperture onto a second beam splitter and a portion of the laser beam impinges upon the first beam splitter. Both the first beam splitter and the second beam splitter are, optionally, made from a dichroic material such that a green component of the laser beam is reflected therefrom and a yellow component is refracted therethrough. The first beam splitter and the second beam splitter further each have a plurality of facets such that the components are reflected and refracted in a number equaling the number of facets. 2 figures.
