The S[bar L](4,[ital openR]) classification scheme for hadrons [Phys. Rev. D 37, 3267 (1988)] is reviewed, including the recent rederivation of the model from QCD as an approximation for the IR region, with applications in hadron and nuclear physics. The classification is extended to include [ital P] and [ital C] parities. The representations of the SL(4,[ital openR])(semidirect product)[[ital Z][sub 2]([ital P])[direct product][ital Z][sub 2]([ital C])] group are described. Mesons are assigned to four predicted [ital J][sup [ital P][ital C]] bandors. From the Regge trajectory mass formula, derived from a dynamical theory for the QCD IR region, a new mass spectrum formula for the SO(4)[contained in]SL(4,[ital openR]) recurrences of meson states is obtained in agreement with experiment. Various missing states are predicted. The system is more restrictive than the conventional systematics based on the nonrelativistic quark model.
