The Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) program at the University of Tennessee is a combined academic/research program for nuclear engineering students who desire special training in NCS. Although the program is oriented toward MS degree candidates, training is also available to senior undergraduates, via an introductory NCS course, as well as PhD candidates through dissertation research projects in the NCS area.
