This report presents a one or two page summary of each state's implementation plan (SIP) regulations for sulfur oxides. The report also explains the relationship between the SIP regulations, the National Ambient Air Quality Standards, and the Federal Standards of Performance for New Stationary Sources, and briefly discusses the various types of emission regulations which appear in the SIPs. This report updates the March 1977 edition to reflect changes to the SIP regulations which have been approved through August 1977.
