Supplementary quality assurance requirements for nuclear power plant construction cover: formwork; steel reinforcement; embedded items; foundation preparation; concrete; structural steel; soils and earthwork; and special foundations. The standard is to be used in conjunction with ANSI N45.2. The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Division 1 and 2 have been considered in developing this standard, and it is intended to be compatible with their requirements.
