This manual provides a working reference for the clinical nuclear medicine laboratory. The methods described have all been tested and are in use in laboratories. Each procedure is broken down under a series of headings: principle, indications, limitations, and radiopharmaceutical and dose. The procedures cover bones and joints, the cardiovascular system, the central nervous system, glands, GI tract and the reticuloendothelial system, the urogenital system, and the pulmonary system. In vitro procedures are discussed in a separate section as are quality assurance procedures. A section on radionuclide handling and radiation safety is included. (KRM)
