This paper presents results of groundbased ultraviolet and visible spectroscopic measurements of OClO, NO[sub 2], BrO, and O[sub 3], from Sondre Stromfjord, (50.4[degrees]N) between November 1991, and January 1992. The results were not as consistent or stable as originally expected, and the authors feel this may be due to the amount of volcanic aerosols in the lower stratosphere over this winter period.
