Standard method for application and analysis of solid state track recorder (SSTR) monitors for reactor surveillance

This method describes the use of solid-state track recorders (SSTR) for neutron dosimetry in light-water reactor (LWR) applications. These applications include pressure-vessel surveillance as well as reactor test-region irradiations. An ASTM standard procedure has already been written for SSTR dosimetry. This method can be regarded as a follow-on procedure that is more highly detailed and specialized. Special attention will be given to attaining absolute accuracy as high as the current SSTR state-of-the-art will allow. In-situ dosimetry in actual high fluence-high temperature LWR environs will also be emphasized.
